Seeing how my better half is heading to Singapore in just a couple of weeks, we found ourselves panicking yet again looking for a place to stay that was cozy, definitely did not repulse us when we were "home" and didn't burn any holes in our wallets. Ever felt stuck looking for a place to crash and majorly running out of time to find it? Well, I definitely have felt like that many many times before and it can be so hair-pulling! 

I was recommended by a friend to visit a website that seriously took a load of my shoulders. Its a website that offers places for short term rentals, for very affordable prices! iBilik is so simple to use and in less than fifteen minutes, I managed to find quite a few places in various locations. Of course there were different categories to choose from as well. From rooms in a shared apartment, to a shared house. From studio apartments, to a whole house! Truly simple. Best part? You could filter it down to the cheapest place being rented out, so you don't have to worry that its by the hundreds per night. Every posting comes with some pictures so you get a rough gauge of what you're looking to live in for a bit. It also comes with a map and directions so you can see what's located around you.

iBilik has a reservation system much like those of hotels. Choose location, choose room or housing type, confirm dates, make payment and print out reservation confirmation and check in!

You know, now I'm feeling real silly for freaking out about my time constraint to search for a place to stay at, while my better half is here. I mean really, I should have prowled the net better because iBilik is one of the most helpful, user friendly and affordable sites I have seen. Now, I know, no more hair-pulling experiences needed.
